2,000 Additional Out of State Employees are Being Relocated to Exxon Mobil’s Houston Campus

The Houston Chronicle reports that an additional 2,000 out of state Exxon Mobil Corp. employees will be relocating to the new 385-acre Houston Exxon Mobil Campus. Construction is expected to complete in 2015, and the new campus will house 10,000 employees. Economist Barton Smith, said that the new jobs will create a “multiplier effect” on our region, due to the increase in spending from the relocating employees.
